Heavy ethylene glycol commonly known as (HEG) is an organic compound that is a yellowish, stable, nonvolatile, and mild sweet odor high viscous liquid. Mainly used in chemical processes of plasticizer and vinyl polymers. Its primary components include tetraethylene glycol and triethylene glycol. Other applications are additives for motor fluids.
Glycol Ether HE is a mixture of di tri, tetra and polyethylene glycol monoethyl ethers.
Completely soluble in water and has low volatility.
