Dioctyl Adipate commonly known as DOA is an organic compound that is a colorless to yellowish, stable, low toxicity, and low odor oily liquid. Mainly used as a plasticizer, it has a variety of uses that involve food contact as well as other plastic industrial uses.

Features & Benefits

Plasticizer designed to impart excellent low temperature properties to Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)

A light colored, oily liquid generally used as a plasticizer for PVC

Can be used alone or blended with other plasticizers, such as DOP or DOTP

In PVC, features flexibility at low temperatures, good electrical properties, good resistance to weathering and good stability to heat.

Used to produce clear films for food packaging applications.

In addition to PVC, DOA is compatible with nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose, most synthetic rubbers and high butyryl cellulose acetate butyrates.
